Meet Dr. Wright
Kelly S. Wright, MD has been a part of the Sellwood Medical Clinic Team since 2005. As an Internal Medicine Physician she works with patients 18 to 100+. She specializes in preventative care and partners with patients to manage their chronic medical conditions. Dr. Wright appreciates the art of medicine and understands the complexities of navigating a complicated, ever changing medical landscape from the patient perspective. She most enjoys building trusting relationships with patients over time and being there for the ups and downs of life.
Dr. Wright grew up in Delaware and completed her undergraduate degree in physics and biology at Fordham University in New York City. She moved on to Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia for her medical training before completing an Internal Medicine residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia in 2012. She then worked as a Hospitalist in Portland, Maine for 2 years before moving to Oregon and starting her career in primary care.
